I'm ordering a bucketload of Turkish beach towels for a family reunion this summer. 99% of them come in an array of colors with traditional stripes. This one stood out because of the turtle motif. I am planning to give this one to my 10-year-old granddaughter. She was mesmerized by the sea turtle eggs that are closely guarded on the Outer Banks last summer, so I know that this will be a lovely and meaningful gift. In all other ways, this towel meets or exceeds the qualities of similar Turkish towels.
I really like this towel. It is a good size, slightly larger than a standard beach towel but takes up a lot less room in my beach bag. It is very soft and cozy and dries quickly. The colors are nice and bright and the turtle design is very cute. Pricey but worth it for me to have thinner, quicker drying towels when I take my kids to the beach.
I've had a similar beach towel to this for a few years now and wanted to get another one with a different design and color scheme. I got the blue sea turtle one and it looks just like in the photos.If you haven't used this type of beach towel before, you might be surprised by how thin they are. They're not like a bath towel, or even a "typical" beach towel. This means they can be stored in a very small amount of space. That also means it's not going to be as absorbent as a thicker towel, but when you dry off with it, it will dry out very quickly.It's large size also makes it great for laying on it in the sand at the beach.The print design and colors are really cool.I would deduct a half star due to the price being a bit high, in my opinion, but rounded up it gets 5 stars.I would recommend this awesome-looking beach towel.
I've recently "discovered" and become a little obsessed with Turkish towels! And this is my only 5 star review for one (at least for now). Mine is blue, and the color is true to the picture - vibrant and very pretty. It is a very soft towel, 100% cotton, and has the thickness I have wanted while still being very thin (compared to regular towels) and lightweight. Its thickness gives me confidence in its absorbency and practicality but its fabric also convinces me that it will be very quick-drying. I love that while it's really big, it doesn't take up much room in a closet or bag. And these towels have multipurpose capabilities - from beach towel to tapestries to swimsuit sarong to tablecloth...the possibilities are only limited by your imagination! Also, this one has the best quality edges - some of the others I've seen (and own) have a concerning seam at their fringe. This one is well-sewn and doesn't look prone to any fraying or unraveling at its edge.
This towel is so soft like a blanket and a pretty big size. I was worried it wouldn��t be absorbent, but I was wrong. It is beautifully made (looks just like the picture), lightweight, and folds up small. Perfect for travel. I can��t wait to use it this summer at the pool.
