Trybal Gatherings
Trybal Gatherings is a women-led nonprofit that organizes weekend camps for people in their 20s and 30s, fostering community through outdoor activities such as color battles and bonfires. Wekapo donated five couches (two green, one chocolate, one blue and one sky blue) to enhance the experience of participants and encourage them to relax in nature.
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Dragon Boat Team
As a proud sponsor of the UCLA Dragon Boat Team, Wekapo supported their participation in the Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival in 2022 by providing six blue inflatable sofas for team members to rest and recharge. We are excited to be part of their journey as a premier club sport team.
The Unumb Center
The Unumb Center, located in Columbia, SC, is dedicated to serving the autism community. In 2022, Wekapo donated a green-leaf sofa to their inaugural fundraising event, Happy Glampers, which provided opportunities for children with autism to attend Camp U. All proceeds from this event went to support the camp, where kids could experience the joy and growth that comes from outdoor activities and connection.
Curtis Memorial Library
In Maine, Curtis Memorial Library stands out for its innovative "Library of Things" program, lending out equipment like lawn games and tools to the community. Wekapo donated a blue sofa to support this initiative, which plays a key role in local sustainability efforts, addressing food insecurity, and encouraging cultural diversity. We are proud to be part of this unique community project.
